Morning Worship

We worship every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. to glorify God as a community and receive encouragement from the love of Christ in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.  The service tries to relate to all people, young and old, and speak to their daily lives.  There is a Children's message every Sunday and the younger children are invited to attend a children's chapel half-way through the worship service.  The Sacrament of Holy Communion is received on the first Sunday of every month.  A nursery is also available for the morning service.  Click the following link to read from a selection of recent sermons.

Evening Worship

On special days of the year, we have an evening worship service at 7:00 p.m. called "Newell at Night."  This service is completely different than the morning service.  It is a contemplative service that seeks to connect people with the Spirit of God through multi-sensory worship.  On any given night, you might hear a special musical group or the Newell at Night Band lead people in singing both contemporary and traditional music accompanied by guitar or piano.  On some nights, you might also learn a meditative spiritual exercise by candlelight while incense is burning. Sometimes you might engage in a special group prayer and talk about what God is doing today in our own lives.  At other times we might recreate a second century worship service.  Newell at Night is for people of all ages who want to experience an exciting and new way to nurture their walk with Christ.

Adult Choir

Our choir is amazing!  Their music inspires us and their voices are like angels.  However, even if don't sing like an angel, you are welcome to join our choir.  If you have the heart to make a joyful noise, we would love for you to participate with us.  They practice every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.  Please contact our choir director, Roxanne, if you are interested.

Bells of Grace

Our hand bell choir is equally amazing!  They are named in honor of Grace Templeton, a dedicated member.  They practice every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.  If you would like to learn to ring the bells, please contact Roxanne.

Children's Choir

There is nothing like hearing the beautiful voices of children.  Our children have a lot of fun together and sing some incredibly meaningful songs.  They practice every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.  Please contact, our Choir Director, Roxanne, for more information.

Worship Helper

We believe that it is important to have a lot of people besides the pastor helping to lead worship.  If you would like to read scripture, write a prayer, be a greeter or an usher, or play a special musical instrument for either the morning or evening service, please contact the Worship Disciple Team or Pastor Brad.
